This grade of Red Birch contains a minimum of 95 percent of the beautiful brownish-red blush that makes this floor so amazing. It is possible there may be the occasional small pin knots and occasional dark streaks. This is truly a distinguishing floor and perhaps the rarest flooring material. Average length 36"

Common

This grade of Red Birch contains 50 percent or more of the deep brownish-red blush that makes this floor so unique. It has varying wood characteristics, numerous streaks, discolored sapwood, sound knots and some checks. It is a casual and exciting floor with super popularity in high-end second homes. Average length 32"

 

All species are offered as solid, unfinished flooring cut from a singular piece of wood. Flooring is square edged, 25/32" thick, and available in 1 1/2", 2 1/4", 3 1/4", 4", and 5" widths.
